Description:
BOSCHINO® Extra Virgin Olive Oil 100% Italian, categorized as fruity, obtained from greener local olives from Salento (varieties Coratina, Picholine, and Ogliarola) before the fruit ripening process begins, harvested early in October, represents the best production of the last oil campaign for this category.
This oil has a dense consistency, with an intense emerald green color, and offers intense vegetal aromas with hints of thistle, freshly cut grass, celery, radish, chicory, and fresh almond. Balanced on the palate, complex and refined, supported by strong and pleasant bitter and spicy notes.
It is a high-quality extra virgin olive oil obtained from century-old local olive groves with early harvesting, before the beginning of the olive maturation process in October, situated just a few kilometers from the Ionian Sea near Porto Cesareo (The Heart of the Mediterranean Maquis).
Tasting Notes:
Intense emerald green, it has medium-intensity fruity notes with clear herbaceous characteristics. On the palate, it opens elegant and smooth, with good fluidity and body, a taste that recalls artichoke and thistle, with pronounced bitter and spicy notes but in good balance.
Production:
Integrated low environmental impact production represents an agricultural production system that uses all agronomic methods and defense against adversities to minimize the use of chemical substances (pesticides and fertilizers), as well as water and energy. The goal of integrated production is thus to achieve quality outputs while respecting the environment and human health.
Pairing:
It is best suited for dressing legumes, raw vegetables, sauces, salads, bruschetta, and any food that is inherently bland.
